Advance Railway tickets will be available from Friday thru’ online and mobile apps only
Advance ticket sales of railway intercity trains for the upcoming Eidul Fitr will start from Friday. This time 100% tickets will be sold through online and mobile apps. As a result, the usual crowd of ticket seekers will not be seen at the station-counters.
The railway authorities said that advance tickets will be sold from April 7 to 20. Out of this, tickets can be purchased from 7th to 11th April and return tickets from 15th to 20th April.
According to the railway notification, tickets for April 17 will be sold on April 7, April 8 on April 18, April 9 on April 19, April 10 on April 20 and April 11 on April 21.
Eid return journey tickets will be sold from April 15. Return tickets will be sold on 15th April for 25th April, on16th April for 26th April, on17th April for 27th April, on 18th April for 28th April, on 19th April for 29th April and on 20th April for 30th April.
On the occasion of Eid, inter-city Mitali Express train will be closed from April 18-27 and Maitri Express train will be closed from April 20-27. However, inter-city Bandhan Express trains will run as usual.
From the start of the Eid journey on April 17 till the eve of Eid, the Dhaka-bound Ekota, Hritzan, Panchagarh, Nilsagar, Kurigram, Lalmoni and Rangpur Express trains will not have a break at the Dhaka Airport station.
